And Adds Three Merchandisers to Product Development Team, Two Designers to the Design Team, and Three Merchandisers to Production Management Team

Sydney, SY – May 10, 2017 – FitnessWear, an Australian retail brand that sells athleisure garments for all age group, announced today the promotion of Man Adam to the post of General Brand Manager. The position had recently been vacated by the former Brand Manager, Steven Franklin, who went into early retirement and will now only serve as a board member. Concurrently, the company also announced that it had added Keith Bane, Whitney Kouston, and Anna Mae to the Product Development Team; Randy Bawson and Katy Ferry to the Design Team; Tug Brue, Hewit Pard, and George Mayson to the Production Management Team.

David Tawson, the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of FitnessWear stated, “Man Adam had done an outstanding job heading our Product Development Team and Design Team singlehandedly these past four years. Under his leadership, our product portfolio has grown ten fold, and the ingenuity of our products, both regarding design and fit is being applauded worldwide. With him at the helm of the brand, heading the product development, design and production teams, we believe our brand will reach new heights.”

Man Adam will be heading all three main departments of the athleisure brand FitnessWear, namely, Product Development, Design, and Production. The heads of all three departments will report directly to him. Each head will have a team of five members working directly under them.

Man Adam has been with the company for the past four years. Before FitnessWear, he was heading the Design Team at the Italian brand, Marara Putti, where he worked for ten years. The revival of the brand after the exit of the designer Putti has been credited to Man Adam. “Putti was like home. But I realised I had become too comfortable and that it was time for a change.” Adam had said on first joining FitnessWear.

Man Adam, the current Brand Manager, said, “It is an honour to be leading a group of talented young designers and merchandisers. It is my duty to harness their individual talents and extract only the best from their efforts. What you see on the runway is the tip of the iceberg. Our team creates a plethora of designs and products, out of which only a fraction make it to the market. We have some excellent technicians working with us, and with their help, we aim to make athleisure wear only more comfortable for our consumers.”
